This video covers the speech by the Miss Joyce Kotoh, the Youth Coordinator of JS Fund for Hope (JSFH) at the launch of "RESPECT THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND GIRLS PROJECT (RHRW). The 3-year project was launched at Awashive in the Akatsi South district of the Volta region on January 2nd 2018. The project seeks to reduce significantly or eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls including domestic violence, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, rape and girl child traffickings. These abuse have resulted in the high rate of teenage pregnancy, girls school drop out, psychological violence, unwanted pregnancies and broken marriages. RHRW is a comprehensive advocacy project intended to increase the awareness of communities on the fundamental human rights of women and girls. The project will establish local structures which will act as watchdogs to report and prosecute all perpetrators of violence against women and girls. It will also provide support services to victims in order to ensure a better future for them.
